These are the House Rules with a mix of examples in some sections.

House Rules. Please respect them and always take notice of them. This is not for only me, but for the whole AP forum. Hey -- I even hated rules. But, I know if we put these rules to good use, AnimePortal Forums would be clean and proper. ^_^

1.) Be respectful.

~ If everybody gives respect, they gain respect back. It's (fucking) self-explanatory. ~

2a.) Signature Limit

*If any admin is caught abusing the unlimited sig/avy size (such as too oversized avy/sig), he/she is demoted from ADMINSHIP and banned for 1 day/24 hours.

3.) Content of Posts

Anything that is found lewd (offensive), violent, vulgar ofr anything above PG-15 is not allowed if outside the 18+ board.

4.) Pornographic Content = AUTOMATIC PERMANENT BAN.

Any level of pornographic content outside the 18+ boards are prohibited. The one who tolerates this will be automatically banned from AP.
Even strong ecchi is considered porn (the ecchi where the breasts are already exposed). Only mild ecchi is accepted (pantyshots, etc. etc.).

5.) LINKS

Types of LINKS:

Type A = High Priority

Links that direct you to websites with mature content. Punishment = 1 week ban
Of course, it's exempted if it's posted in the 18+ Zone. Real pornographic sites are NOT ALLOWED. POSTING OF THIS ANYWHERE IN THE MESSAGE BOARDS RESULT IN AUTOMATIC PERM BAN. ^__^

Type B = Middle Priority

Links that direct you to sites with referrals. When you have referred someone, you get a prize/money. vBulletin referrals don't count. ^__^

Type C = Low Priority

Links that are placed outside the Ad-Vertisement Board. These are moved. 3 offenses and you get a 24 hour ban.

6.) SPAM

Q: What is spam?

Spam =>

~ ten-second thought replies = "Yes" ; "No" ; "Hi [name]"
~ posts that contain less than 6 words.
~ posting something not related just to jack up your post count

Any spam found is deleted. Multiple repeatition of spamming = 3 day ban
There are some boards where spam is allowed, though.

7.) Spoilers

SPOILERS FROM THE MANGA ARE NOT ALLOWED IN AP MAIN. PLEASE PUT THEM IN THE MANGA SECTION.

8.) Troll/Flame

This practice is strictly prohibited.

1st Offense = Stern warning
2nd Offense = 1 week ban
3rd Offense = 1 month ban
4th Offense = 5 month ban
5th Offense = Permanent Ban

9.) Dupe Accounts

They will be banned immediately!

10.) Name changes

=> One is allowed to 5 name changes (feels generous ^__^)
=> You should wait for 2 months between name changes
=> When you first register, you should wait for 2 months to pass before you may get your first name change
=> Anything rude/explit is not allowed in usernames.
=>If you have used up all of your name changes, you may still get 1 free name change every year. No, it doesn't build up. If you didn't use your 1 free name change this year, then tough luck. Next year, it's still the same. 1 name change.
=> Admins have unlimited name changes. ０（＾▽＾）０

Remember, we give this as a privilage to our dear members. This is not an obligation for us. ^__^
Oh yeah, before I forget: DON'T RUSH US. We will ignore you if you rush us :3
